As important habitats and water sheds, Mt. Halcon’s remaining forests serve and provide other environmental services. Making Charcoal , conversion of forestlands to other land uses, slash and burn farming, mining, and other disruptive and unsustainable resource use practices are all expected to worsen in the coming years. Mt. Halcon’s remaining natural forests are already fragmented and restricted to much higher elevations, and the use of natural resources found there is not fully regulated. There is still unresolved thing on who has the real authority in terms of conducting a protection to Mt. Halcon . And it is very important to know how valuable Mt. Halcon and to put an action in making protection to properly care for Mt. Halcon.

As these three — Mangyan , Mt. Halcon and The Tamaraw — are completely linked together in protecting each other in which they has a very significant importance in preserving Mindoro’s heritage and as well as is needing the proper protection to prevent it from any destructive Activities that humans may cause and to continually preserve it until the next era .
